CODE is here! Waters will also be participating in the Hour of Code December 8 - 14.
Last spring Waters was selected to participate in the first cohort of CPS schools to teach coding. Beginning this fall, students in grades 4 through 8 receive instruction designed to incorporate understanding of the basics of computer programming through online activities.
Instruction also includes "unplugged" activities which reinforce programming vocabulary, and introduce new concepts.
